Making a 13-foot R/C Aircraft Carrier from Scratch
When completed in the summer of 2013, our 13-foot replica of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk will be the largest model we`ve ever constructed. Like our smaller CV-63 model (see earlier videos), it will be able to launch R/C aircraft via a catapult system. Unlike that smaller model, it will also be able to recover those aircraft.
