E-FLITE EXTRA 300 - Newbie dad flies his first 3D capable RC plane!
Hey guys! Welcome back to Jon`s RC! Today, Jon and I both got to fly the E-flite Extra 300! Obviously, Jon is the intermediate level pilot and so he was able to fly it much better than me. I am a newbie and it is wonderful that the Extra 300 can accommodate a beginner RC pilot such as myself. This is the absolute first time I am flying the Extra 300. I have practiced on Real Flight 9.5 using the Extra 300. While the feel may be similar, the crash-risk factor is definitely different! I had a tough landing as you can see on the video. Jon as usual flies this beautiful aerobatic plane with ease. He is actually training for and practicing for an upcoming Pattern Flying Contest in our field! He found that the Extra 300 makes for a great pattern flying plane. We both used the Spektrum 3S 3200 mAh LiPo which is perfect if you are a beginner or practicing pattern or 3D flying. There is enough power to do whatever you want just a bit less speed than the 4S.
This airplane was made of 5mm and 10mm depron foam , balsa wood and plywood, carbon fiber rods for the wings mount , white vinyl and all the stickers were cut in a plotter machine
