Build an RC plane from pool noodles and realtor signs
I can`t think of a cheaper way to build an ultra-durable RC plane than by using two very tough materials: coreflute and pool noodles, along with some simple tools such as scissors and an old kitchen knife.
In this video I start the build and show how these materials (poolnoodlium and coreflutium) can be turned into an RC plane of your own design. Simple basic rules of thumb for design and and construction techniques that require no special tools make this build a piece of cake.
Tomorrow I`ll post the rest of the build and the test f(l/r)ight video.
This technique of 3D printing the wing ribs to hold a true aerofoil shape worked out super well! Combined with foam sheets, packing tape and the lightweight wooden spar, it performs amazingly well!
