Aichi M6A Seiran 3d printed RC plane maiden flight
Aichi M6A Seiran WWII Japanese submarine-based plane. Scale looking 3d printed RC model with electric motor. Maiden flight was without floats (yet to be printed). Almost everything on this plane is 3 d printed. Geoff spent about 40 hours printing this machine using plans from 3DLabPrint. But he says he also spent about 150 hours of experimentation getting the set up just right. This flight is fitting milestone after this big effort. Well done Geoff! Look forward to seeing it fly off water. Soundtrack - appropriately called Getting There by Silent Partner.
